I'm excited to go to the dentist! When is the last time you heard that? As a matter of fact, when was the first time? Do patients leave your office smiling? Do they ever say I feel like I was somewhere else?
444 days ago I started down the road of the NuCalm highway. What is that you ask?
NuCalm is a safe, non-narcotic, anti-anxiety protocol that is simple to administer to your dental patients. What are the contraindications? Patients with a pacemaker, cochlear implant and LVAD(Left Ventricular Assisted Device), or brain implant. If a patient is nursing the recommendation is to pump and dump for 24 hours. If the patient is pregnant it is contraindicated. NuCalm can be used on anybody 12 years of age and older. We have had profound results in our practice. Patients are requesting it when they call. They are referring friends and family. No, they are not excited to come to the dentist. But, and it's, a big but - they are less apprehensive, they keep appointments, and years of neglect are being addressed.

As I am writing this piece. My first patient of the day is under NuCalm and I just gave her local anesthetic with no topical first. We are removing a three unit bridge and prepping for a replacement. Our patient is a fifty-five year old female. Finished in forty minutes. Patient didn't budge. We have NuCalmed three patients and its only ten thirty. The next patient is a female age sixty and we are prepping number ten for a PMC. She is a low stress patient who doesn't think she needs NuCalm. But decided to try it.
